A Waterfront Mediterranean Vibe

Every year Tweed Coast Weddings hosts the most incredible Bi-Annual Wedding Trails across the best of the best Wedding Venues on the Tweed Coast.

This Winter we were invited to co-style one of their beautiful waterfront venues, Ancora in Tweed Heads, NSW. Teamed with two of the best when it comes to Wedding Styling, killer lighting and beautiful botanicals, on Sunday 17th July we brought this venue a serious load of bold, colourful freshness.

Think BRIGHT, BOLD, FRESH and a style that just makes you want to smile!

This insane Floral installation was created by the oh so talented Rox from Bunch It Up, her amazing floristry skills nailing the brief and adding so much colour and dimension to this hanging installation over the table.

We had Danielle from Til Death Events styling the table mixing it up between pastels and deep olive green hues. Lots of texture through the use of ribbed candles, tinted glassware, stone bases to create more height to the table. A highlight to the styling was incorporating the bright additions of fresh fruit and vegetables, creating that Mediterranean vibe.

It was our turn to finish the styling off with the perfect wedding stationery set. Keeping it bold and unique, we wanted to create wedding stationery that accentuated the styling with a twist of a groovy 70’s colour palette.

Lilac, Olive Green and a deep crimson red were the hero colours of our wedding stationery. We created oversized wedding place cards filling the diameter of the white plate. The lilac wave line kept these place cards soft and on trend. The wedding guest menu was printed onto a scored cardstock which was place underneath the place setting, having the menu facing out to the guest’s seat. This is a very unique way of displaying the menu, keeping the oversized wedding place card the hero to the place setting.

We’re loving mixing the pastel and brights together and created a matte olive green wedding table number in our new “Wave” shape. This freestanding wedding table number set created depth and fit perfectly at the head of the table amongst the bright florals and fresh fruit surrounding.

We can't wait to be back on the Tweed Coast creating magical Weddings like this for our amazing couples.
